Over this period the work has covered biomedical signal processing, neonatal feeding analysis, oceanographic instrumentation, digital forensics, evidence integrity and financial systems. See Research and Engineering and Selected Projects.
Approach
Engineering, computation and experiment
Interdisciplinary by design
The same toolkit (signal processing, software architecture, instrumentation and statistics) is applied to problems in medicine, oceanography, digital evidence and finance.
Computation and experiment together
Methods are developed alongside the data and instruments they depend on, and evaluated experimentally rather than assumed to work.
Accurate attribution
Much of the work supported research led by academic and institutional collaborators. Informaton's contribution is described as software, methods and engineering support; it does not claim ownership or direction of that research.
